The game

INSET is a free puzzle game. Play it as much as you like. Don't abuse the service that hosts it, for example by scraping or automated bulk requests.

No warranty

INSET is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Country outlines are simplified real-world data and may contain errors; borders shown are those in the source data and are not a statement about any territorial dispute. Frames, scoring and daily rounds may change as the game develops. Results and streaks are stored only on your device and may be lost if that storage is cleared, and we can't restore them.

Not a reference

It should go without saying, but: INSET is a game. Don't use it as a source for the area of a country, or for anything else that matters.

Map data & attribution

Country outlines come from Natural Earth and are in the public domain. They are reprojected to an equal-area azimuthal projection offline and shipped inside the page. See About for full credits.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of INSET. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop playing (though we'd rather you told us what's wrong, at playwardrun@gmail.com).
